Is this forum new?

I ran across this forum when I was googling cozy mysteries and wondered if it was very new? I see there aren't many members yet but I hope more join. It looks like it could be a good place to chat with others with the same reading tastes.

If possible could there be an 'introduction' section where we can tell a little about ourselves when we join or something?

Yes, this is a brand new forum, less than a month old that came in to existence when a few members of a similar forum (http://www.gothicromanceforum.com/ ) discovered a similar interest in reading cozy mysteries. Glad to see we have reached a visible presence in Google's index so quickly.
